Gone for 2023 is the Accord's previous top-line engine, the turbocharged 2.0-liter. It also carries an impressive EPA estimate of 48 mpg in combined city and highway driving. All other trim levels come with a revised hybrid powertrain that Honda says can now sustain the Accord at higher speed so the engine won't cut in to assist as frequently. Up front, the grille and headlights have been simplified for a more cohesive and clean look, while the taillights adopt a tidier European flavor.
